Alberto Cuevas

Alberto is a Partner at Samaipata based in Madrid, he leads the Platform function that aims to support our portfolio founders, called the Hive.

Before joining Samaipata, he spent over 15 years working in hyper growth startups like Groupon, Airbnb and Letgo; and for over 10 years he has been investing and advising startups before finally starting his own advisory firm &Cuevas.

‍

Alberto also founded the Rescue United Foundation, a US non-profit organisation focused on utilising skills-based volunteering to solve social problems.

‍

Outside of work, Alberto is a big motor enthusiast who loves riding motorbikes. You can also find him playing with his turntables, after a nice meal surrounded by friends and family.
