# Samaipata > Samaipata is a pan-European venture capital founders' fund investing in early-stage tech companies with network effects across Europe. We back ambitious founders who dare to better the world through technology. Samaipata was founded in 2016 by a team of operator-investors, headquartered in Madrid with team across Europe. In 2026 we launched Samaipata III, a €110M fund to back Europe's builders in the age of AI. Beyond capital, we operate The Hive, our hands-on founder success platform built over a decade as the VC platform we would have valued as entrepreneurs ourselves. We are high-conviction investors. We strive to cut through the noise. Our typical investment is at the seed and pre-Series A stage in companies with network effects, across all European geographies.
